There are many of us,
Silent,
Across blurry mental landscapes,
Labyrinths,
And lights.
Our destinies tangled,
In a net of chance trajectories -
A few meeting points
Bring us together
For an instant.
There are those of us who come
From water,
Those who come from land,
And some
Whom the sky brings here.
We look each other
Eye in the eye,
Inside, -
Our common solitude
We share only through silence.
And it’s beautiful,
And sad,
And magic,
The silence of who travels alone.
The world hums with silence:
All our voices,
Half-voices,
And screams,
Become a trembling tune when embraced
In one.
